We are transponder specialists. Most late model Fords, beginning in 1997, are equipped with transponder chips in the head of the key. Ford calls these keys "PATS" or passive anti-theft system keys. If you need a duplicate key or to replace lost keys we can help.

Most fords use the "2 Key" system to add duplicates to the vehicle computer. If you have 2 working keys you can add additional keys to the vehicle with a simple on board programming method.

If you have lost all of your keys we have programming equippment to replace your lost keys. There is no need to tow your vehicle to the dealership

We have an extensive inventory of Ford keyless entry remotes. New and Used. If you need a replacement give us a call. If your vehicle is not equipped with factory keyless entry we can add a keyless system for you.

Keypads

Does your Ford vehicle have a keypad on the drivers door? If you have lost your code we can retrieve it from the vehicle computer. If your vehicle does not have a keypad we can add one to most Ford models.

Ignition problems are very common on Ford models. If you have a malfunctioning lock call us and we will have a technician come repair/replace your lock We stock most domestic car replacement locks, including OEM manufacturer parts.

Rekeying

If someone has stolen your keys we can rekey your existing locks to fit new keys. The dealer will have to replace all of your locks with new ones which is much more expensive. For your security and peace of mind give us a call.

PATS-1 system: (1997 and some 1998) To add additional keys, use 1 existing working key, turn the ignition to the "run" position (not to start or cranking) then turn off, within 15 seconds insert the new key and turn to the run position. The security light with illuminate for 2 seconds to indicate programming success. Try out your new key.

PATS-2 system: (1998 up) To add additional keys, use 2 existing working key, turn the ignition to the "run" position (not to start or cranking) then turn off, within 5 seconds insert the second working key and turn to the "run" position and off. Within 10 seconds insert the new key and turn to "run", leave it on for one second and turn off. The security light with illuminate for 3 seconds to indicate programming success. Try out your new key. (for Tribute, Escape, and Focus models leave the new key on for 10 seconds before shutting off on the final step)
