In the event of losing all keys to your 1997 to many 2002 Lexus models the dealership will have to replace your vehicles on board engine control computer to make new keys. We can reprogram your existing computer to accept new keys. This can be a huge savings. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, you can send us your ECU to have it programmed, ( ECU Flashing ) if not, call us and we will send a technician to you.

There is a "security" light located on the dash of most Toyota and Lexus models that use transponder keys. If the light illuminates briefly when inserting the key your key is a valet and cannot be used for on-board-programming. If the light does not illuminate at all then that key is a master and can be used to program additional keys.

*To add a duplicate transponder key to your Lexus vehicle you must have a working "master" key. If you do not have a working master key contact us for key programming. Additional charges may apply.

Many 1997 up Lexus and Toyota

1. press and release accelerator and brake pedal at same time
2. insert existing master key into ignition
3. within 15 seconds press and release accelerator 5 times
4. within 20 seconds press and release brake pedal 6 times
5. within 10 seconds insert new key into igntion
6. within 10 seconds press and release accelerator 1 time
7. wait 80 seconds, key is registered and security light will go out
8. remove new key and press and release brake pedal 1 time
9. test new key

Many 1998 up

1. insert existing programmed key into ignition
2. within 15 seconds: press and release accelerator pedal 5 times
3. within 20 seconds: press and release brake pedal 6 times
4. remove key
5. within 10 seconds: insert new key to be programmed into ignition
6. within 10 seconds: press and release accelerator pedal once
7. security light will flash
8. after 1 minute light will extinguish
9. to program second key start over with step 5
10. remove key, wait 10 seconds and test start new key
